1839 Bed and Breakfast
Where History and Hospitality Meet

Your hostess, Gloria Woodruff, invites you to celebrate the rich history of Upper Canada's first capital with one of the original families.
Woodbourne is the largest of several Woodruff houses in St. David's, a village that changed hands 12 times during the War of 1812. The Woodruff family was active in politics, business, farming, the military and the church.
Relive history in words, pictures and furnishings in this newly restored 1839 designated heritage home.

The ancestral Woodruff family home is situated on 3 1/2 herbicide and pesticide-free acres with gardens, pond, mature exotic trees and dressage horses.
Gloria rides dressage and has competed at past Eastern Canadian Championships. Join her as she trains and meet her warmblood horses, Alex and Athena.
Horse lovers who are travelling with their horses are invited to contact Gloria about Woodbourne's 'Bed & Bale' special rates with boarding on the premises.
